Accessing Archer Course Labs

Many Archer courses include hands‑on labs. For instructor‑led courses, your lab environment is automatically provisioned—no action required.

For self‑paced courses, you receive 12 months of course access, but your lab environment is not activated until you request it. This approach preserves resources and helps keep course costs low.

Starting Your Lab (Self‑Paced Courses)

When you are ready to begin the lab portion of your on‑demand course:

1. Follow the instructions provided inside your course to submit your request.
2. If you are not currently in your course, you may contact us directly via Archer Academy Support. Please include:
   • The name of your course
   • Your region (US, EMEA, or APAC) so we can place your lab on the closest server

Lab provisioning typically takes one business day, though it is often faster.

Once your lab is ready, you will receive an email from Skytap, our virtual lab platform. The email will include a link to launch your environment. Inside Skytap, you will find a PDF of your lab guide, and for select courses, a PDF of the slides used in live versions of the same course (Admin Essentials, Adv Workflow, and Business Owner Essentials only.)

Lab Duration and Runtime

After launching your lab:

• You receive 20 hours of runtime
• You have 4 weeks (28 days) to use that time
• A timer at the top of your lab shows your remaining hours

When either the runtime or the 4‑week window expires, the lab is automatically removed and cannot be recovered.

To help preserve your hours, your lab will enter Suspend mode after 20 minutes of inactivity.

If you are running low on lab hours, you may purchase additional time. Important: We must receive your request before your current lab expires.
