An Archer On‑Demand Subscription provides one student with full access to our training catalog for 12 months. Individual on‑demand courses also carry a 12‑month access period from the date of registration.
To understand what happens when that access period ends, review the details below.
Monthly Cleanup Process
At the end of your 12‑month access window, our system performs a monthly cleanup that affects enrollments within a subscription.
1. Not Yet Started
Any courses or exams you have not started are removed from your profile.
2. Completed
Courses or exams marked Completed remain in your profile. You will continue to see them on your transcript and may still download your certificates of completion. You will not be able to access the course material once it is past the expiration date listed on the course.
3. In Progress
Courses or exams marked In Progress remain in your profile, but since they have reached the expiration date, you will no longer be able to access the training material.
How Expiration Dates Work for “In Progress” Courses
Newly Released During Your Subscription Year
If a course was newly released during your subscription year, its original expiration date remains in place.
You may continue progressing through that course until its assigned expiration date is reached—even if that date extends beyond your subscription year.
Updated During Your Subscription Year
If a course was updated (but not newly released) during your subscription year, its expiration date is adjusted to match the end of your subscription year.
You will still see the course in your profile, but your access ends when your subscription year ends.
Example: Archer Administration I has existed for many years. If it is updated during month 6 of your subscription and you have not yet started it, the updated version replaces the original. The learning platform may display a new 12‑month expiration date, but your access does not extend beyond your original subscription year. This prevents unintended 18‑month access windows.
Because of this, it’s best to begin your courses early in your subscription year to make full use of your access.
Remember: Logging In Is Essential
You must log in to the learning platform to see your assigned subscription or courses. If you haven’t logged in yet, follow the instructions here:
Once logged in, your My Learning page will display everything assigned to you.
If you have additional questions, leave a comment and we’ll update this article with more details.
