The New UI brings capabilities that change how your team works in Archer every day. Each feature below links to its section in the New UI User Guide.
New UI
The New UI transforms how you interact with your data. The modern, clean design with thoughtful spacing and visual hierarchy makes every record feel less overwhelming and more navigable. A visual workflow tracker keeps you oriented within the process at a glance, while an intelligent right pane surfaces key information and status updates relevant to where you are in the record. The result feels clean and purposeful, reducing the cognitive load so you can focus on the work itself rather than hunting for information buried in dense fields and tabs.
We are proud of the new interface and consistently make new improvements with each new release.

Refreshed Advanced Search and Report Builder
We have reimagined our report builder, "Advanced Search", that makes it faster to explore and find the data you need. Users build reports using a three-pane layout, with your search criteria and quick filters on the left, live results directly in the center, and report properties on the right.
This new view eliminates the back-and-forth of our classic advanced search. It still has the same power as our classic build, without the confusion. User can build their own reports with unique relationships, filters, sorting, and drill-down options.

Right Pane
We've consolidated much of the information Archer collects in the background into one place. Users will notice a new expandable pane on the right that showcases new tabs, like the relationship viewer, access log, change log, record progress, and validation messages. The history log has been improved, and now is filterable.

Relationship Viewer
Archer GRC is all about building relationships between risks, controls and your organizational assets, entities, and processes. With our updated relationship visualizer, you can view and navigate those relationships on any record. Clicking a relationships will expand it further to see more relationships. The right side of the report shows you relevant information about the related object, making exploration informative and helpful.

Progress Tracker
Our new progress tracker lets your users know where they are at with a glance. It's a visual representation of any values list field on the record, and it's easy to set up.

Attachments, Annotations, and Comments
Attachments have gotten their biggest upgrade yet. File size limits have grown from 100MB to 4GB per attachment, with the ability to download attachments in bulk. Users can open PDFs and images directly inside Archer, add highlights and comments, and save those annotations back to the record.

Smart Copy
Archer has always been able to duplicate a record for the user, but the New UI has enhanced that feature. Admins can now configure which fields are important to carry over, while providing the flexibility to ignore system fields, calculated fields, attachments, sub-forms, and other sensitive data. Once configured, anyone who uses the copy feature will have a record immediately duplicated with only the right data carried forward.

Inline Edit
We've changed inline edit from the search page to show the user a quick form without opening each record. Admins control exactly which fields are eligible, so you get speed without sacrificing data integrity. This new method will enable us to add more features, like supporting data-drive events in the future!

Reports on Record Pages
Admins can embed global or search-based reports directly into record pages for a true single-pane-of-glass view. Drill down into report segments and switch between chart and table views without leaving the record.

Record Highlights
Anchor the most critical data points of a record in a dedicated panel at the very top of the page. Stakeholders can get the core context instantly without scrolling through the full form.

OneDrive and SharePoint Integration
Attach and access files from your existing Microsoft 365 environment without leaving Archer. Link, view, and edit documents directly within records instead of uploading local copies, so your document store and your GRC platform stay in sync.
