Archer's New UI
We have completely revamped Archer's user interface to make it more capable, more intuitive, and more modern. We use your same database and configurations, but have built new APIs and a completely new UI to change how your users experience Archer. It can be toggled on or off, so you can migrate when you are ready.

Personal Access Tokens (PATs)
No more managing user-generated tokens for API calls. Create a PAT directly in Archer, define its access controls and expiration date, and use it to call REST APIs. Cleaner, more secure, and fully self-service.

Slack and Teams notifications
Receive Archer notifications where your team already works. Any notification sent via email can now also be delivered through Slack or Teams. Keep users informed without living in their inbox.

Admin activity logs
More control and accountability over your configuration. Track changes made by administrators, with logs accessible directly in Archer or via API.

Self-Managed JavaScript Transport Service
Have Archer run custom JavaScript files to push data from Archer, or pull data into Archer. It processes requests in containerized environments, supports Node.js with enhanced library support, and we have security and stability built in. We recently added developer logs available right in our UI to help debug and fix issues. The best part? It's completely self-serve now, with no need for code reviews performed by Archer.

Smart Data Publication
Smart data publication is a feature that allows you to extract full solution-level data in a BI ready format. It supports multiple output formats, like SQL and CSV, can be scheduled or run on-demand, and the outputs can be pulled into any tool via API.

Behind the scenes
In addition to front-facing features that your users or admins see, we have also been hard at work to improve the platform quietly underneath SaaS. We are constantly improving performance and resilience without any work on your part. Some examples of SaaS-only improvements are below:
- New containerized UI
- "K.I.S.S." search
- Cloud jobs and serverless cloud jobs
- Caching service and scale-out cache to absorb peak loads
- Rate limiting
- Kubernetes-based Archer Workflow (AWF)
- Resource Governor added to the Archer database
