Archer Admin Essentials

Archer Admin Essentials provides new administrators with the foundational skills to configure, manage, and optimize an Archer environment. Learners gain hands‑on experience building applications and automation, setting up access control, performing basic data integrations, and creating reports and charts for dashboards and workspaces. After completing this course, participants will be ready to plan, configure, and manage Archer confidently.

Note: Virtual lab exercises use a virtual on‑premises Archer instance, so all labs are completed in Archer Classic UX. The course also includes video demonstrations and screenshots of Archer Core UX where functionality differs.

Audience

Archer administrators responsible for building and managing Archer environments.

Delivery Options

This course is available in two formats:

• Instructor‑Led (4 full consecutive days)
• On‑Demand / Self‑Paced — includes up to one year of access to course materials and 20 runtime lab hours over a 4‑week lab window

Both formats contain identical content. Choose on‑demand if you prefer flexible pacing or cannot commit to four full days. Choose instructor‑led if you value live interaction and guided discussion.

Day 1: Introduction to Archer • Building an Application (fields, layout, navigation menu) • Questionnaire Demo

Day 2: Data‑Driven Events • Calculated Fields • Notifications • Data Import • Bulk Actions • Advanced Workflow Demo

Day 3: Access Control • Reporting and Charting • Dashboards (widgets, dashboards, workspaces) • Packaging

Day 4: Guided Capstone Learners build an application from scratch, configure automation, reporting, and access control, and package it for instructor feedback. Live virtual students receive guidance via Teams; self‑paced students can access Archer Office Hours for support.
