User Authentication in Archer (LDAP & SSO)

Overview:

This training provides a comprehensive, hands-on overview of authentication in Archer, including an introduction to how authentication works within the platform, the available login methods, and the different user creation options.

Participants will begin with a foundational understanding of LDAP in Archer, then explore LDAP configuration attributes, common deployment scenarios, and effective troubleshooting techniques for investigating LDAP-related issues using real-world sample cases.

The training also covers Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration in Archer, including Windows Integrated Authentication, Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS), and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML). Participants will learn how these authentication methods are implemented, how to investigate and resolve common SSO issues, and how to troubleshoot challenges that may arise during SSO setup through guided, hands-on exercises.

Finally, we'll close out with a brief look at Personal Access Tokens (PATs), which are used with Archer APIs.
