Hello everyone, is there a way to replicate existing global dashboards like copy and pasting to create a new dashboard and then going in and just updating the filters to the reports? We are creating dashboard and all of the reports are the same.

Hi Kyle, the silver bullet feature you are describing 'Dashboard Filtering' is a roadmap item for the Archer platform that is looking to be built post Archer NGRX uplift. Other community users may have ways to expedite the create/build approach you are talking but the feature you are after is not platform native at this time.

Thank you, Jon, for reviewing and letting me know this is a roadmap item. Can you share when this is expected for development and for release? I am not familiar with the Archer NGRX Uplift timing. If it helps, we are on SaaS

Hi Kyle, no issues and happy to help. Unfortunately there is no date as yet for this feature. All I can share is that there is quite high demand for it from the Archer user base (for exactly the use case you've outlined). I'm afraid that its a 'watch and wait' at this stage until more formal product announcements.

This is not exactly what you are after but I think it will give you a way forward (until the above changes are implemented)...

Go to the 'Workspaces and Dashboards' menu under the Admin menu and select Dashboards. Then locate the dashboard you wish to copy and click the copy button on the right hand side.

The reports will all be the same ones that are on the existing one but you can amend, save as and then replace the existing one with the new one on the new dashboard.

Not ideal but at least it gives you all the reports you need in one place without having to try and find them to recreate 😏

Thank you, Celeste, for your comment, that is super helpful! I am going to try that option in our UAT and see if it works for us. Since the reports would be the same reports from the other dashboards I wanted to prevent updating the main report and save as a new report and prevent the time and manual work on creating the other reports. I will report back and share an update :)
