@mombilal depending on the field type and you don't need the time. Just create a rule when the field changes and set a date field.

Thank you for your quick response, its not about capturing the date. its to capture the field audit information. like the person who modified that field.
we have this OOB to be displayed under the field in edit mode, but can we capture from that in a separate field.

There's really no way of capturing the audit information being it is added after the record is saved. Calculated fields can't see it and a custom object wouldn't be able to capture that data until the next time the record is edited.

Hello David, Is there more information how to do that ? I want to capture only the date when a specific field was changed into new field. Also Will that capture legacy records or only the new ones? Here is one example:
I want to capture this date 11/21/2018 in new field.
