August 11, 2025 - Update on Character Encoding Behavior and Recent Fix Rollback:
Following recent platform updates (2025.06.03 & 2024.11.04), Archer has reverted to earlier behavior in how HTML content is processed across various areas of the platform, including Calculations, Data Feeds, and API interactions.
As a result, Self-Closing HTML tags (e.g., <br>) may now appear as raw markup rather than rendering as formatted text area fields. This change was reintroduced after a previous fix proved inconsistent and was rolled back due to client feedback.
At the time of the update, no workaround was available, and clients were informed that this behavior was expected. However, new testing has revealed a simple and effective workaround that restores the expected rendering—without changes to Archer’s core platform.
If your organization is experiencing issues with HTML displaying as raw markup, we recommend reviewing this Knowledge-based article available on the Archer Community for guidance on implementing this workaround.
We appreciate your continued partnership and feedback as we work to enhance your experience with Archer.

@Meg Oneil,
May I know if the release 2024.11.04 has the fix or has it been rolled back in 2024.11.04?
