When we launched Archer ESG solutions in 2022, we recognized that carbon management must be an integral part of our comprehensive ESG approach. Today, we are thrilled to announce a new addition to the Archer ESG solution – the launch of Archer Carbon Management, a comprehensive offering for carbon accounting based on the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol.

Archer Carbon Management is powered by our strategic partner, Compare Your Footprint (CYF), a carbon accounting platform that has been helping companies estimate and manage their carbon footprints since 2017. Our partnership with CYF ensures that we can provide a robust and reliable solution that meets the evolving needs of businesses committed to sustainability.

Measuring Your Footprint

Accurate measurement is the foundation of effective carbon management. Without a clear understanding of where emissions are coming from, it's challenging to implement meaningful reductions. Archer Carbon Management is designed to assist our customers with this crucial initial step by offering:

• Efficient data collection. Companies can gather input information based on their spending and activities, simplifying the process of data collection.
• Comprehensive emissions calculation. The solution calculates Scope 1 (direct), Scope 2 (indirect from purchased energy), and Scope 3 (indirect across value chain) carbon emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol.
• Reporting and analytics. Businesses can generate emissions reports that provide insights into various categories, locations, organizational units, and other parameters, supporting informed decision-making.
• Regulatory and voluntary compliance. The generated carbon emission data is ready to be reported against voluntary frameworks like GRI and SASB, as well as regulatory standards such as the EU CSRD and US SEC Climate Disclosure Rules.

Leveraging an Integrated Approach

The value of Archer Carbon Management extends beyond mere emissions calculation. It offers a fully integrated approach, combining the capabilities of Archer ESG Management with the carbon calculation engine of CYF. This integration enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of carbon management processes. The integration is enabled through three sequential steps:

• Input data is collected through Archer ESG Management using prebuilt templates designed to streamline the process.
• The collected data is transferred via an integration package to CYF, where emissions calculations are performed.
• The calculated carbon emissions data (Scope 1, 2, and 3) is then sent back to Archer ESG Management for comprehensive reporting and risk management purposes.

By utilizing this integrated approach, companies can manage their carbon emissions more effectively, making it easier to collect, calculate, analyze, report, and act on carbon emission data from a single, holistic solution.
