We are pleased to announce the General Availability of Archer Next Generation User Experience (NGRX) in Archer SaaS Non-Production and Production environments across all the regions. This release includes several enhancements and improvements.
Enhancements
- Report Objects : Report Objects now support drill-downs directly from record pages. Easily switch between chart and data views, with dynamic sizing of report object based on the content.
- Introducing NGRX Custom Objects with secure customisation, robust communication and advanced features like; event handling, source code validation and dynamic content validation. For more details, view: Creating NGRX Custom Objects
- Auto save new references: With NGRX, automatically save relationships upon creation of a new cross-referenced record or sub-form from existing record
- Hide Record actions: Copy and Add new, with the option to hide these options from application builder .
- Smart Copy: Introduces field-level properties that allow or prevent selected field values from being copied to a new record.
- NGRX API: NGRX REST APIs and their documentation(via Swagger) are now available on Non-Production environment. For more details, view: Next Gen Risk Experience API
Additional Improvements
- Record lookup is now supported when creating new questionnaire records.
- Calculated key fields with errors now display the record’s Content ID in the header.
- Visual indicators are now available in the Application Builder to identify NGRX-only features.

This new user experience is an optional feature that does not affect the existing Archer installation or user experience.
