With the launch of the Next Gen JST Service, Archer SaaS introduces enhanced logging capabilities for JavaScript Transporter (JST) Data Feeds. This new level of observability helps you better monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize your scripts—directly from the Archer UI.
How to Access JST Logs
To view logs for any JST Data Feed run:
- Go to Integrations → Data Feeds (JST).
- Find the data feed you're interested in.
- Click the ellipses (⋮) under the Actions column.
- Select View Run History.
- Click on a specific run to view execution details.
- In the top-right corner (just below the X), click the log icon to open detailed logs.
What Logs Are Captured
The JST log viewer displays only the logs explicitly defined in your script using the supported format. These logs can include: data transformation steps, validation checks, warnings or errors, custom debug messages.
Note: Logs that don’t follow the prescribed format will not appear in the UI.
Log Retention & Limits
- A maximum of 1,000 log entries are shown per script run.
- Logs are retained for 30 days after execution.
- During this period, you can download logs for offline analysis, auditing, or archiving.
This visibility makes it easier than ever to fine-tune your data feed workflows, debug issues, and ensure smoother operations with JST in Archer SaaS.
