We’re excited to announce an evolution of the Archer certification program designed to better serve the diverse roles within the Archer community.
Our current certification structure built around three progressive levels that focus on the Archer platform has helped practitioners develop deep, hands‑on expertise and advance their skills using Archer. This foundation remains unchanged and continues to be the core path for professionals who design, configure, and maintain Archer solutions.
What’s New: A Dedicated Track for Business Leaders
In addition to the three existing certification levels, we are introducing a separate certification track specifically for GRC business leaders.
This new track is designed for executives, managers, and decision‑makers who rely on Archer for governance, risk, and compliance oversight but do not require technical or configuration‑level expertise. The Business Leaders certification path focuses on strategic understanding, value realization, and effective leadership rather than system administration or implementation tasks.
Why We’re Making This Change:
As Archer continues to be used across organizations at multiple levels, we’ve heard a clear need for certifications that reflect different responsibilities and perspectives. This updated structure allows us to:
- Preserve technical rigor for practitioners following the existing certification levels
- Provide business leaders with a learning path tailored to strategy, governance, and outcomes
- Ensure each certification accurately reflects how individuals engage with Archer in their roles
By separating these paths, learners can pursue certifications that align more closely with their day‑to‑day responsibilities and career goals.
What This Means for You:
- Practitioners and implementers: The three‑level certification structure you’re familiar with remains fully intact.
- Business leaders: You now have a certification path designed specifically for your role, without requiring technical configuration knowledge.
- Organizations: Teams can build well‑rounded Archer expertise by certifying both technical specialists and leadership stakeholders.
